Two of us, Barry and myself, plan to travel from Auckland to Gisborne on 28th December, and would like to offer a ride to one or two others. Since no response, we probably will decide to travel by Intercity bush instead of taking a car.

Two of us, Barry and myself, plan to travel from Gisborne to Auckland on 22nd December, and would like to offer a ride to one or two others. Since no response, we probably will decide to travel by Intercity bush instead of taking a car.

I try to travel with a light footprint and usually travel by Intercity Bus for out of town travel, while using a bicycle in Gisborne. I am very keen on train travel. We need the railway line to be reinstated to Gisborne and for passenger rail to again be a real option for people here! I am heading to Upper Hutt on October 9th and there is no Intercity connection between Woodville and Masterton, where I would like to catch the train if there was any possible way to do this.
I can travel from Gisborne to Woodville by Intercity bus, but the gap I need a ride is between Woodville and Masterton.
