Hi folks,

I'm actually trying to get from Elk Grove (just south of Sacramento, CA) to Chimacum (just northwest of Seattle, WA) but these are the closest major cities.

I have a 2014 5-passenger Jeep Patriot SUV, with plenty of storage room. Pretty comfy, and you can lean back the front passenger seat to sleep easily. I can pay for all gas, tolls, and road meals and snacks, no problem. The car is in good repair and well maintained.

I can drive for about two hours at a time, at most, and don't have good night vision. It's a 13-hour drive, there and back. So I really need someone to help me with the driving.

I need to be in Chimacum on Saturday, August 16, for a wedding. So I can drive out there any time from August 8 through August 15. After that, I can drive back any time from August 17 through August 24. I'm pretty flexible.

So if you're in the vicinity of Sacramento and want free transportation to the Seattle area and back this August, I hope we can work out a solution.

(I also have plenty of car-camping equipment in case you want to break up the trip over 2 days. Don't worry, no funny business - I'm happily married and really am just looking for a car copilot, that's all.)
