I will be renting a van or suv on about Feb 20th & driving from Houston, TX to Miami, FL. Ideally looking for someone to split gas AND help drive so we can hopefully get it done in 1 day (18 hr drive). Would also consider dropping off along the route.

COST: I will pay for rental vehicle as I need to load as much as possible with my stuff. It’s 1200 miles, so at approx 16 mpg, $3.15/gallon = $236, & we would split gas cost.

DAY/TIME: Departure day is a little flexible, need to leave between Feb 20th & the 23rd, departure time doesn't matter to me.

SEATS/SPACE Available: 1 seat, and minimal luggage, but this flexible.

RULES/Expectations: No smoking in vehicle, nothing to impair driving ability & NO texting or looking at cell phone while driving!!

And if someone else is moving to the Florida area, I would also consider renting a U-Haul And splitting the cost. (Looks like renting a 15 foot truck from Spring,TX to Miami, FL is about $1500 plus $200 for insurance.)
